2nd May 2021 Fifth Sunday of Easter (B)

No matter how many people work in the various Parish Groups, there is always room and (more often than not) a need for volunteers, who can give of their talents for the good of the community.

Interested? Have a look on the Groups page and get in touch with the listed contact or with Fr. Paul. They will be very pleased to provide information. Remember: Asking for information is exactly that. It is not a commitment to doing anything. Very often the times and frequency may not suit you and family commitments must come first. However, circumstances change and we would ask you to bear the possibility in mind for the future.

Nothing in the Groups page? Why not look at areas where your talents might be employed?

Youth Group. We have excellent resources but no youth group apart from music with Liam Ryle

Cubs and Scouts. We have not had any for a number of years due to a lack of adult organisers.

Pantomines / Drama There is a large pool of talent in the Parish and it only needs an organiser.

Land and Buildings Maintenance. What about a little light weeding? Can you wield a secateurs or a shovel? Maybe you are more talented. What about offering your services? We only have a need for an occasional Saturday morning work party.

Walking Group With such superb walking country on our doorstep, we really should have one.

Parish magazine We had a very successful magazine at one time

IT / Internet Our website would certainly benefit from professional input

75th Anniversary of the parish is now only a year away. How do we mark the occasion? It would be a shame if we did not put our history on record. This will need photos, documents, reminiscences, newspaper cuttings etc. Please do not let this information be lost.
