 HOLY WEEK AT HOME
We are all being asked to “STAY AT HOME—PRAY AT HOME” until we can gather together again. This is especially im-portant in this Holy Week—the most im-portant week in the Church’s year! We probably all have our memories of taking part in the special ceremonies of Holy Week, especially on Maundy Thursday,

Good Friday and the Great Vigil of Easter of Holy Saturday night—this year will be very different. I will be celebrating these services on my own in Church, but Pope Francis and our Bishops have asked that everyone knows when I am celebrating, so that you can think of the liturgies taking place and join with them spiritually.
My timetable is therefore:

Maundy Thurs-day: I will celebrate the Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 6.30 p.m.
On Good Friday the Commemoration of the Lord’s Passion will be at 3.00 p.m. and
on Holy Saturday the Easter Vigil will be at 8.00 p.m.
I will record each service (as usual!), and depending on technical up or downs each service should be on the YouTube channel an hour or so after it finishes. Please note that there will be plenty of live-streamed liturgies (including the Holy

CORONAVIRUS AND CANCELLATION OF PUBLIC WORSHIP

Resources will be made available for parishioners to stay in touch and continue to pray and worship at home.

Please pray for each other, and especially those who are ill or afraid.
