Vincent Walsh led the way with a superb score of 40 points to win the Reidy Trophy and help Province 1 to bragging rights over Province 4 for the coming year.

Southwater Trophy Inter-provincial vs Provinces 10 & No 17 Ron Cain Trophy for Province 1
The Southwater Trophy was won by Province 17 and Norbert Nixon won the Ron Cain Trophy with an excellent score of 38 points.

Danson Trophy and Inter-provincial vs Province 17
Dave Parkinson led the way for Province 1 dropping just 5 strokes to par in a superb display, which gave him 42 points and victory in the individual competition. Congratulations to David for bringing the trophy back to Rochdale after an absence of 30 years
It contributed in a big way to the victory by Province 1 against a very strong Province 17 team, which had beaten us 2 weeks previously on our home course at Blackley.
David is pictured right with Society Captain Brian Lillis and this magnificent trophy, which is now in its 85th year of competition

Murphy Trophy & Inter-provincial vs.Province 17
After an excellent day’s golf at Davyhulme Park, the Murphy Trophy for best individual overall score was won by Peter Watterson of Province 17, who also won the Interprovincial match.
Once again our star performer was David Parkinson, here receiving the McNabb Trophy for best individual score in the Province 1 team.
